Muslim World League (Makkah al-Mukarramah)
The Muslim World League was established in pursuance of the decision taken by the International Muslim Congress convened on 14th
Dhu al-Hijja 1381AH (18 May1962) in Makkah al-Mukarramah. It’s headquarter is situated in the same city. It is a broad based
international Islamic non- governmental organization and is represented in a number of international bodies including Organization of
Islamic Conference (OIC), United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), UNESCO and UNICEF.
Muslim World League London Office (MWLLO)
The MWLLO is a registered charity working in the UK since 1982 under the auspices of its parent organization the Muslim World League
in Makkah al-Mukarramah.

Mission Statement:
With teamwork spirit the MWLLO works towards serving the community and initiating constructive dialogue with various faith groups in
the UK focusing on points of agreement. MWLLO is also engaged in forging unity among the Muslims. It respects other faiths and social
groups by building bridges of understanding.
The youth are the focal point of MWLLO’s activities. It endeavors to enable them contribute positively to the welfare of the society. To
achieve its objectives, MWLLO organizes conferences, symposia and various cultural events open to faith and non-faith groups and to
the British society at large.
