On the 19th of June, 2024, the Camden community came together to celebrate the spirit of unity and cultural diversity at the Interfaith Eid Ul Adha Celeberation event, aptly themed “Connecting Hearts, Faith, and Culture.” This heartwarming occasion was held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and saw a rich tapestry of attendees from various faiths, including Christians, Jews, Hindus, and local officials.

5:30 PM – Registration and Welcome Refreshments

Muath Alamri, the CEO of MWLLO, then took to the podium. With heartfelt sincerity, he welcomed all the guests and shared nostalgic memories of waiting for Eid during his childhood. His words resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing the joy and communal spirit that Eid brings.
The Mayor of Camden followed with a speech that highlighted the collaborative efforts of MWLLO and expressed her profound feelings about the occasion. She spoke passionately about the importance of such interfaith events in fostering understanding and unity within the community.
